»The Legal Right of Representation between Spouses as a Part of the Reform in Comparison to the Legal Right of Representation between Relatives in Austria and Switzerland«: The author compares the new statutory right of spousal representation for health matters introduced in Germany with the reform of guardianship and care law passed in 2021, with the corresponding statutory rights of representation of relatives in Austria and Switzerland. She additionally critically examines the newly introduced provision and declares it incompatible with the constitutional right to self-determination and the requirements of the UN CRPD.
