Marius Welling was admitted to the bar in 2006 after studying at the Universities of Trier and Salamanca and has also been qualified as a specialist lawyer for banking and capital markets law since 2012. He has always focused on complex and mass proceedings. As a lawyer for the defendant Telekom AG, he was already involved in the development of the KapMuG and subsequently represented numerous clients in various forms of collective redress and class actions as well as in directors' and officers' liability proceedings and corporate law disputes. After working in a US law firm, heading the Litigation and Investigations team of a major Swiss bank and working as General Counsel of a listed litigation financier, he now heads the Dispute Resolution department at Schalast.
