Anna Pingen

Anna Pingen studied law in Toulouse and Freiburg. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Ulrich Sieber, she completed her doctorate in 2021 with a thesis on »Motivational Offences. A German-French Criminal Law Comparison«. Since 2021, she has been working on the project »Seeing Antisemitism Through Law« at the Justus Liebig University of Gießen. She is co-editor of the journal eucrim at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law. Since 2023, she has been an adjunct professor at Gratz College, Philadelphia (USA). In 2023, Anna Pingen was awarded the Otto Hahn Medal for outstanding scientific achievements.
