Anne Sophie Ortmanns

Anne Sophie Ortmanns studied law at the University of Passau and completed a specialized language training in Chinese and English. During a one-year study visit at the University of Nanjing, supported by the German National Academic Foundation, she deepened her knowledge of Chinese. After completing the First State Examination in Law in 2020, she was employed as a research assistant at the Institute of International Economic Law with special focus on East Asia under Professor Dr. Yuanshi Bu, LL.M. (Harvard) until March 2023, when she obtained a doctorate from the Faculty of Law of the University of Freiburg. Since May 2023, she has been a legal trainee at the Berlin Court of Appeal.
