Fabian Wittreck

Fabian Wittreck took studies in Law and Roman Catholic Theology in Würzburg and finished his juridical dissertation in 2001. After obtaining the venia legendi for public law, legal philosophy and constitutional history in 2005, he began working as a lecturer at the Law Schools of Würzburg and Berlin. From 2007 to 2013 he held a professorship for public law, legal philosophy and sociology of law at the University of Münster. Since 2013 he chairs the institute for »Public Law and Politics« at the Law School of Münster University. He is among the principle investigators of the local Cluster of Excellence »Religion and Politics«.
