Florian Nicolai

Florian Nicolai studied Law at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and completed his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Nuremberg. During his studies and clerkship, he worked at the Institute for Criminal Law at the FAU, initially as a student assistant and later as a research assistant. He obtained his doctorate in 2023 as part of the Research Training Group »Cybercrime and Forensic Computing« supported by the German Research Fund (DFG). Currently, Florian Nicolai holds the position of ›Akademischer Rat a.Z.‹ at the FAU. Additionally, he is an associated researcher at the Swedish Law and Informatics Research Institute of Stockholm University.
