Halil Kaan Canan

Halil Kaan Canan graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University in 2014. Following his graduation, he completed his legal internship in Ankara and was admitted to the Ankara Bar Association in 2015. He then pursued a Master’s degree at LMU Munich with a scholarship from the Turkish Ministry of Education. Subsequently, he completed his PhD at the same university in 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ralf Kölbel, on the topic of »Comparison of the treatment of mistake of objective elements of justification reasons under German and Turkish law«. He has been working at the Faculty of Law at Hacettepe University since 2024.
