Helmut Birner

Helmut Birner studied law with supplementary degrees in Economics at the University of Bayreuth (specialising in corporate and tax law) and International Commercial Law at the University of Birmingham (LL.M.). He was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation and the Max Weber Programme Bavaria. Since 2017, he has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Law and Business Law with Prof. Dr. Markus Möstl and as the Acting Managing Director of the Research Centre for Business and Media Law. His dissertation was accepted in autumn 2022. He has been completing his legal traineeship at the Bamberg Higher Regional Court since April 2022.
