Karlheinz Muscheler

Born in 1953 in Radolfzell on Lake Constance, doctorate and habilitation at the University of Freiburg, venia legendi for civil law, commercial law, legal philosophy and legal history. From 1992 to 2022 he held the Chair for German Legal History, Civil Law and Commercial Law at Ruhr University Bochum. Numerous publications, especially on legal philosophy, legal history, family, inheritance and foundation law, initiator/co-founder of the associations »Fundare e.V. – Gemeinnütziger Verein zur Förderung des Stiftungswesens« and »Hereditare – Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Erbrecht e.V.«.
