Leonard Eric Schmitz

Leonard Eric Schmitz studied law and European law at the Universities of Würzburg and Warsaw and passed the First State Examination in Bavaria. Afterwards, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of German and European Private Law as well as Private International Law at the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg. He received, inter alia, the Prize for Good Teaching of the Faculty of Law and was sponsored by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. He received his doctorate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eva-Maria Kieninger. Since the beginning of 2023, he has been a legal trainee in the district of the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court.
