Marie Elisabeth Penné began her studies in law at Philipps-Universität in Marburg in 2016 and completed her first state examination in 2021. After obtaining her first state examination, she pursued her doctoral studies under the supervision of Professor Dr. Constantin Willems. Concurrently with her doctoral research, she worked as a research assistant at the department of the Professor Dr. Constantin Willems at Philipps-University and at a leading European law firm, specializing in the areas of corporate law, specifically stock and capital market law, as well as mergers & acquisitions and private equity. She successfully completed her Doctorate in Law (Dr. jur.) dissertation in July 2023 through the Faculty of Law at Philipps-University Marburg.
