Markus Wagner
Markus Wagner studied law at the University of Augsburg and then worked first as a research assistant and later as a temporary academic advisor at Justus Liebig University Giessen. In 2015, he obtained his doctorate there and habilitated in February 2022. After being a substitute professor in Leipzig and Marburg, he has been holding the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at the University of Bonn since October 2022. His research focuses on criminal law, especially economic and international criminal law, and criminal procedure as well as norm theory.
