Matthias Ehmer

After completing his law studies at Ruprecht Karls University of Heidelberg, Matthias Ehmer joined Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg as a research assistant in July 2019. His thesis, supervised by Prof. Dr. Wolfram Buchwitz and funded by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, is dedicated to the functions of mores in classical Roman law. Two research sojourns were spent at the universities of Padua and Naples »Federico II«. Ehmer researches and publishes on Roman law, civil law and methodology.
