Peter Unruh
Peter Unruh studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen. He was a research assistant at the chairs of General Legal Theory of Prof. Dr. Ralf Dreier and of Public Law of Prof. Dr. Christian Starck. In 1993 he received his doctorate with a thesis on Kant's philosophy of state. After his legal clerkship in Hamburg, he returned to the Georgia Augusta in 1995 and habilitated at the chair of Prof. Dr. Franz-Josef Peine in 2001 with a work on constitutional theory on the constitutional concept of the Basic Law. Since 2012, he has been President of the Regional Church Office of the Lutheran Church in Northern Germany.
